Anti knife crime education programme delivered by Mikey's World for the Creative Youth Network combining an immersive Cornerstone VR workshop with a brief insight into catastrophic bleed kit control training.
The workshop gave professionals the opportunity to see the world through a young persons eyes, helping to build empathy, curiosity, and practical strategies to support children and young people in authentic and empowering ways.
We are proud to be in partnership with Cornerstone, using Immersive VR 360 films to deliver impactful education and prevention work with young people and also the professionals that support them.
A huge thank you for allowing us to deliver this session, and to be invited along to the workshop evening.
Hayley, Scott, Jolene & Leanne really enjoyed meeting you all and hearing about the work you do in our community with young people & children. We are so pleased you enjoyed the training & look forward to working with you again in the future.

Mikey's World has been working on a support and prevention programme in partnership with Cornerstone VR using fully immersive virtual reality to put you in a young person's shoes of the world today. This is to see what challenges children are up against! It includes lots of programmes like the digital world, the adolescence brain, knife crime, grooming etc. MiHayley Ryallum Hayley Ryall would love to know as parents would you be interested in taking part in a session or two? Initially for parents that may be worried about their teens, not understanding the decisions they might be making, in a place where you won't be judged, around other Mums, Dads and guardians that are feeling the same, people you can talk things through with and get some support?
Hayley will run the confidential sessions free of charge (this is not a fundraiser) as she understands how you might feel having been through difficult times herself, but also wishes she had this knowledge years ago, she really believes it would have helped her understand a little more of Mikey's World, the world he was growing up in.
Please either DM us or comment here if you think it might be for you. Spaces would be limited to a maximum of 10/12 but we would like to get an idea of interest. This would be evening and weekends depending on demand.
